It was a week fueled by creative fever, where design met emotion, and where we invited visitors to experience a sensory journey through the four elements: <strong>Water, Fire, Air, and Earth.<\/strong><\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-9004111228762256 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.subtile.style\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/DSC00997-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Collectible Brussels\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" \/><\/p><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-9004111228762235 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.subtile.style\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_5296-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Collectible Brussels\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Heart of the Home: Fire &amp; Earth<\/h3><p>At the center of our concept stood a reimagined fireplace\u2014a dialogue between mineral strength and organic warmth. This central piece, a collaboration between <strong>Subtile X Terretceterra<\/strong>, revisited the hearth not just as a functional object, but as the &#8220;motor of hominization&#8221; that brings us together.<\/p><figure id=\"attachment_9004111228762254\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9004111228762254\" style=\"width: 683px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-9004111228762254 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.subtile.style\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/DSC00955-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Collectible Brussels\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9004111228762254\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Unbound Flames<\/figcaption><\/figure><p>This vision was brought to life by the incredible <strong>Cathy Deprez<\/strong>, with whom we have collaborated for nearly three years. Her handcrafted organic ceramics gave the mantel a soul, echoing the textures of the earth. We owe a massive debt of gratitude to Cathy for her unwavering presence throughout the fair and her vital help with the complex setup.<\/p><figure id=\"attachment_9004111228762251\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9004111228762251\" style=\"width: 683px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-9004111228762251 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.subtile.style\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/DSC00725-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Collectible Brussels\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9004111228762251\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Unbound Flames<\/figcaption><\/figure><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Air in Motion<\/h3><p>During the opening, the installation transcended the physical. The element of <strong>Air<\/strong> was embodied by the performance of the dancer <strong>Eurydice<\/strong>, whose movements wove through the exhibits, revealing a hidden dimension of the work and breathing life into the space.<\/p><p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-9004111228762230 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.subtile.style\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/DSC00784-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Collectible Brussels\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\" \/><\/p><p>We were proud to unveil <strong>CUMULUS<\/strong>, a series of mirrors by <strong>Valentin Bony<\/strong>. Shown for the very first time, these limited-edition pieces\u2014crafted from laser-engraved mirrored PMMA\u2014invite us to &#8220;keep our heads in the clouds.&#8221; They encourage a return to spirituality: to look at oneself, yes, but perhaps a little less, and to reconnect with the world instead. A heartfelt thank you to Valentin for his constant energy at the booth and the inspiring conversations he shared with every visitor.<\/p><figure id=\"attachment_9004111228762246\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9004111228762246\" style=\"width: 683px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-9004111228762246 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.subtile.style\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/DSC01161-683x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"Collectible Brussels\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9004111228762246\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cumulus<\/figcaption><\/figure><p>The element of <strong>Air<\/strong> and the passage of time were further explored through the video projections of <strong>Alexandre Aldavert<\/strong>. His work, <em>The Birth of Color<\/em>, is a visual ode to life. Since 2020, Alexandre has filmed the sky daily, capturing nearly 365 sequences of light and shade. Knowing the staggering number of hours Sylvain dedicated to the manual polishing process, we were thrilled to see his impeccable craftsmanship recognized. These pieces are perfect for expanding a room\u2019s horizon and reflecting the beauty of surrounding nature.<\/p><figure id=\"attachment_9004111228762232\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9004111228762232\" style=\"width: 683px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-9004111228762232 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.subtile.style\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/DSC00854-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Collectible Brussels\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9004111228762232\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Atelier Machot<\/figcaption><\/figure><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Human Touch: Le C\u00e2lin<\/h3><p>From Barcelona, architect <strong>Marion Delaporte<\/strong>\u2014supported by Kultur LX\u2014joined us to present her intimate series, <em>Le C\u00e2lin<\/em>. Inspired by her daily life as an architect and the fluid gestures of a choreographer, Marion uses copper and plaster to create &#8220;embraces of form&#8221; as a candler. These delicate, elevated lines are deeply personal, capturing the warmth and comfort of a human hug.<\/p><figure id=\"attachment_9004111228762234\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9004111228762234\" style=\"width: 683px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-9004111228762234 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.subtile.style\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/DSC00936-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"COLLECTIBLE Brussels\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9004111228762234\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Le C\u00e2lin<\/figcaption><\/figure><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ancestral Weaving: The Cocoon<\/h3><p>Finally, the element of <strong>Earth and water<\/strong> was represented through the willow work of artist-scenographer <strong>Erik Barray<\/strong>. His approach is an intimate dialogue with nature, extending<\/p><p>the growth of the plant through the human hand. As always, we strive for contemporary propositions that are &#8220;dans l&#8217;air du temps,&#8221; yet we remain deeply rooted in ancestral methods and historic resonances (such as the coming exhibition between Guillaume Slizewicz &amp; Fran\u00e7oise Lombaers and the mosaics of Maison Hannon).
